AD7734BRUZ-REEL7 Description

Short technical summary and product information.

The AD7734 is a high precision, high throughput 24-bit Sigma-Delta analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Analog Devices. It features 4 single-ended analog inputs with programmable input ranges of ±10 V, ±5 V, +10 V, and +5 V. The converter achieves 24-bit no missing codes and ±0.0025% nonlinearity, with 18-bit p-p resolution at 500 Hz and 16-bit p-p at 2 kHz. It includes on-chip per channel system calibration and is overvoltage tolerant up to ±16.5 V without affecting adjacent channels.

The ADC operates from a single 5 V analog supply and a 2.7 V to 3.6 V or 5 V digital supply. It offers a 3-wire serial interface compatible with SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE, and DSP. The device is available in a 28-lead TSSOP package (28-TSSOP, 0.173" width, 4.40 mm).

Designed for industrial applications, the AD7734 is suitable for programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), multiplexing applications, process control, and industrial instrumentation. Its high throughput and per-channel calibration make it ideal for systems requiring fast channel switching and accurate measurements.
