The AD7708BRU is a 16-bit sigma-delta ADC designed for low-frequency measurement applications. It offers a programmable gain amplifier (PGA) and a multiplexer that allows up to 4 fully differential or 8 pseudo-differential input channels. The device operates with an external reference and supports both SPI and DSP-compatible serial interfaces. With a sampling rate of 1.37 kS/s, it is suitable for industrial process control, instrumentation, and pressure transducer applications. The ADC is specified for single 3V or 5V supply operation and features a typical supply current of 1.28 mA at 3V. It is housed in a 28-pin TSSOP package and operates over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
