The AD7690BRMZ is an 18-bit, 400 kSPS successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Analog Devices, part of the PulSAR family. It offers high precision with integral nonlinearity (INL) of ±0.75 LSB typical and ±1.5 LSB maximum, and a dynamic range of 102 dB at full throughput.
This device features a true differential analog input with an external voltage reference, supporting a single 5 V supply. It provides a serial data interface compatible with SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE, and DSP protocols, and includes a busy indicator and daisy-chain capability for multi-ADC configurations.
The AD7690BRMZ is housed in a 10-lead MSOP package (10-MSOP) and is designed for surface mount assembly. It operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for industrial and instrumentation applications. Power dissipation is very low at 4.25 µW at 100 SPS and 4.25 mW at 100 kSPS, with a standby current of only 1 nA.
The AD7690BRMZ has an 18-bit resolution.
The maximum sampling rate is 400 kSPS.
The input type is differential.
The operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C.
It is available in a 10-MSOP package (10-TFSOP, 10-MSOP).
The supply voltage is 5 V.
The RoHS status is listed as RoHS3 Compliant, but this is unverified.
