The AD7685CRMZ is a 16-bit, charge redistribution successive approximation analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from the PulSAR family. It operates from a single 2.3V to 5.5V supply and achieves a sampling rate of 250 kSPS with no missing codes.
Key electrical specifications include an integral nonlinearity (INL) of ±0.6 LSB typical and ±2 LSB maximum, a SINAD of 93.5 dB at 20 kHz, and a total harmonic distortion (THD) of -110 dB at 20 kHz. The device features a pseudo-differential analog input with an external voltage reference and a proprietary serial interface compatible with SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE, and DSP.
The ADC is housed in a 10-lead MSOP package (10-MSOP) and supports surface mount mounting. It is designed for low power consumption, dissipating 1.35 mW at 2.5V and 100 kSPS, and 4 mW at 5V and 100 kSPS. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C.
The AD7685CRMZ has a resolution of 16 bits.
The maximum sampling rate is 250 kSPS.
The supply voltage range is 2.3V to 5.5V.
The AD7685CRMZ is available in a 10-MSOP surface mount package.
