The AD7683BRMZ is a 16-bit successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Analog Devices. It offers a sampling rate of 100 kSPS and features a pseudo-differential input with an input voltage range of 0 V to VREF. The device operates from a single supply voltage of 2.7 V to 5.5 V and consumes only 4 mW at 5 V, making it suitable for battery-powered applications. The ADC uses an external reference and communicates via a serial SPI/DSP-compatible interface. It is available in an 8-lead MSOP package for surface mount assembly. Typical applications include data acquisition, medical instruments, and process control.
