The AD7660AST is a 16-bit, 100 kSPS charge redistribution SAR analog-to-digital converter from Analog Devices. It operates from a single 5V power supply and includes an internal conversion clock, error correction circuits, and both serial and parallel system interface ports.
Key specifications include 16-bit resolution with no missing codes, integral nonlinearity of ±3 LSB max, signal-to-noise and distortion ratio of 87 dB min at 10 kHz, and total harmonic distortion of -96 dB max at 10 kHz. The analog input voltage range is 0 V to 2.5 V. Typical power dissipation is 21 mW at full throughput and scales with sampling rate.
The device is housed in a 48-lead LQFP package (7x7 mm) with surface mount gull wing leads. It supports multiple interface options including parallel, serial, SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE, and DSP. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C. This ADC is pin-to-pin compatible with the AD7664.
