The AD7658BSTZ is a 12-bit successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter from Analog Devices. It integrates six independent ADCs in a single 64-lead LQFP package, enabling simultaneous sampling of up to six channels.
With a maximum sampling rate of 250 kSPS, the device offers true bipolar analog inputs with pin- or software-selectable ranges of ±10 V or ±5 V. It achieves a typical signal-to-noise ratio of 86.5 dB at 50 kHz input frequency and consumes only 140 mW at full speed from a 5 V supply.
The ADC supports multiple data interfaces including SPI, parallel, and DSP-compatible modes. It includes an on-chip reference and reference buffers, and features a standby mode with 100 µW maximum power dissipation. The input bandwidth is 12 MHz.
The device is housed in a 64-LQFP (10x10 mm) package for surface mount assembly. It operates over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
