The AD7655ACP is a low cost, 4-channel, 16-bit successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter from Analog Devices. It features two track-and-hold amplifiers with a multiplexer, enabling simultaneous sampling of two input pairs. The ADC operates from a single 5V supply and offers a sampling rate of 500 kSPS in normal mode and 444 kSPS in impulse mode, with power dissipation scaling to 2.6 mW at 10 kSPS.
The analog input voltage range is 0 V to 5 V. The device supports both parallel and serial interfaces, including SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE, and DSP. It is housed in a 48-lead LFCSP package (7x7 mm) and is specified for operation from -40°C to +85°C.
Typical applications include AC motor control, 3-phase power control, 4-channel data acquisition, uninterrupted power supplies, and communications. The AD7655ACP is pin-to-pin compatible with the AD7654.
