The AD7625BCPZ is a 16-bit, 6 MSPS successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Analog Devices. It uses a charge redistribution SAR architecture that provides no pipeline delay, making it suitable for high-speed data acquisition applications. The device achieves a typical signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 93 dB and integral nonlinearity (INL) of ±0.45 LSB typical, ±1 LSB maximum.
Key electrical specifications include a differential input voltage range of ±4.096 V, a supply voltage range of 2.37 V to 2.63 V, and typical power dissipation of 135 mW. The ADC supports both internal and external reference options, with an internal 4.096 V reference or an external 1.2 V reference buffered to 4.096 V. The serial LVDS interface provides high-speed data transfer in either self-clocked or echoed-clock mode.
The AD7625BCPZ is housed in a 32-lead LFCSP (5 mm × 5 mm) package for surface mount assembly. It operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. Typical applications include high dynamic range telecommunications receivers, digital imaging systems, high-speed data acquisition, spectrum analysis, and test equipment.
