The AD7623ASTZ is a 16-bit, 1.33 MSPS PulSAR ADC from Analog Devices. It uses a SAR architecture with no pipeline delay, providing 16-bit resolution with no missing codes. The device features a differential input range of ±VREF (up to 2.5V) and typical INL of ±1 LSB. It offers multiple data interfaces including SPI, parallel (16- or 8-bit bus), and DSP-compatible serial. The ADC operates from a single 2.5V supply (2.37V to 2.63V) and dissipates 45 mW typical at full throughput. It includes an internal 2.048V reference and supports external reference as well. The device is housed in a 48-lead LQFP package (7x7mm) and is surface mount. Operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C. Typical applications include medical instruments, high speed data acquisition, digital signal processing, communications, instrumentation, spectrum analysis, and automatic test equipment.
