AD7610BSTZ Description

Short technical summary and product information.

The AD7610BSTZ is a 16-bit successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Analog Devices. It offers a throughput of 250 kSPS with no missing codes and features programmable input ranges of 5 V, 10 V, ±5 V, and ±10 V, selectable via pins or SPI. The device achieves typical INL of ±0.75 LSB and SNR of 94 dB at 2 kHz, making it suitable for precision applications.

The ADC includes a 5 V internal reference with typical drift of 3 ppm/°C and an on-chip temperature sensor. It operates from a single 5 V analog supply and supports 5 V/3.3 V digital interfaces. Power dissipation is 90 mW at 250 kSPS and drops to 10 mW at 1 kSPS. The SAR architecture eliminates pipeline delay.

The AD7610BSTZ is available in a 48-lead LQFP package (7 mm × 7 mm) and also in LFCSP. It supports parallel (16- or 8-bit) and serial SPI-/QSPI-/MICROWIRE-/DSP-compatible interfaces. Typical applications include process control, medical instruments, high speed data acquisition, digital signal processing, instrumentation, spectrum analysis, and ATE.
