The AD7538TQ is a 14-bit monolithic CMOS digital-to-analog converter (DAC) manufactured by Analog Devices. It features a 14-bit parallel load with double buffered inputs, allowing for simultaneous updates in multi-DAC systems. The device uses laser trimmed thin-film resistors to achieve excellent linearity and is guaranteed 14-bit monotonic over the full temperature range.
This DAC provides a current output (unbuffered) and requires an external voltage reference. It operates with a positive supply voltage of 12V to 15V and exhibits low output leakage current of less than 20 nA over the full temperature range. The AD7538TQ is speed compatible with most microprocessors and accepts TTL or CMOS logic level inputs.
The device is packaged in a 24-pin CDIP (0.300", 7.62mm) through hole package, making it suitable for prototyping and applications requiring robust mechanical connections. It is designed for use in microprocessor-based control systems, digital audio, precision servo control, and control and measurement in high temperature environments.
The AD7538TQ has a resolution of 14 bits.
The AD7538TQ provides a current output (unbuffered).
The positive supply voltage (VDD) range is 12V to 15V.
The AD7538TQ is housed in a 24-CDIP (0.300", 7.62mm) through hole package.
The AD7538TQ uses a 14-bit parallel interface with double buffering.
The RoHS status is listed as RoHS3 Compliant, but this is unverified and should be treated as low confidence.
