The AD7528LN is a monolithic 8-bit dual digital-to-analog converter (DAC) from Analog Devices. It integrates two independent DACs on a single chip, each with an R-2R ladder architecture and current-unbuffered output. The device accepts parallel digital input data and provides a fast settling time of 400 ns typical.
Key performance specifications include integral non-linearity of ±0.5 LSB maximum and differential non-linearity of ±1 LSB maximum. The DACs are matched to within 1% typical, and the device supports four-quadrant multiplication. Power dissipation is only 20 mW typical, making it suitable for low-power applications.
The AD7528LN operates from a single supply voltage ranging from 5 V to 15 V and over an industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. It is housed in a 20-pin PDIP package with through-hole mounting, ideal for prototyping and legacy system integration.
