The AD7528JNZ is a monolithic dual 8-bit digital-to-analog converter from Analog Devices, designed for applications requiring two matched DACs in a small footprint. It incorporates separate on-chip latches for each DAC, allowing easy interface with 8-bit microprocessors such as the 6800, 8080, 8085, and Z80. The device operates from a single +5V to +15V power supply and consumes only 20 mW typical power.
Both DACs use an R-2R architecture and provide current-unbuffered output with four-quadrant multiplication capability. The settling time is 400 ns typical, and the data interface is parallel with TTL/CMOS logic compatibility. The reference voltage is supplied externally, and each DAC includes its own feedback resistor.
The AD7528JNZ is housed in a 20-lead PDIP package (0.300" body width) with through-hole mounting. It is rated for operation over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
The AD7528JNZ has 8-bit resolution.
The AD7528JNZ contains 2 independent DACs.
The settling time is 400 ns.
The output type is Current - Unbuffered.
The AD7528JNZ is supplied in a 20-DIP (0.300", 7.62mm) package. The supplier device package is 20-PDIP.
The operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C.
The supply voltage range is 5 V to 15 V.
