The device operates from a 2.5 V supply with a 3.3 V tolerant digital interface. It includes programmable ADC gain, on-chip volume control for the DAC channel, and software controllable clickless mute. The codec supports 16-, 20-, and 24-bit word lengths and can use 256, 512, or 768 fs master mode clocks with a master clock prescaler.
