AD7356YRUZ Description

Short technical summary and product information.

The AD7356YRUZ is a dual, 12-bit, high-speed, low-power successive approximation ADC from Analog Devices. It operates from a single 2.5 V supply and achieves throughput rates up to 5 MSPS per channel with no conversion latency. Each of the two ADCs is preceded by a low-noise, wide-bandwidth track-and-hold circuit capable of handling input frequencies in excess of 110 MHz.

The device includes an on-chip reference voltage of 2.048 V with ±0.25% accuracy and 6 ppm/°C drift, and supports both external and internal reference modes. Typical power dissipation is 36 mW at 5 MSPS, with a supply current of 14 mA. The conversion process and data acquisition use standard control inputs, allowing easy interfacing to microprocessors or DSPs via a high-speed serial interface compatible with SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE, and DSP protocols.

The AD7356YRUZ is available in a 16-lead TSSOP package and is specified for operation over the -40°C to +125°C temperature range. It is suitable for data acquisition systems, motion control, and I/Q demodulation applications.
