The AD73311ARZ-REEL from Analog Devices is a complete analog front-end processor designed for general-purpose applications including speech processing, telephony, and active control of sound and vibration. It integrates a 16-bit A/D converter and a 16-bit D/A converter, providing 75 dB ADC SNR and 70 dB DAC SNR across a voiceband signal bandwidth. The device supports a maximum sample rate of 64 kS/s and offers programmable input/output gain stages.
Operating from a single supply voltage of 2.7V to 5.5V, the AD73311ARZ-REEL consumes only 50 mW maximum power. It features low group delay—25 µs typical for the ADC channel and 50 µs typical for the DAC channel—and achieves –90 dB typical crosstalk. The on-chip reference simplifies design, and the flexible serial port allows cascading up to eight devices.
The AD73311ARZ-REEL is housed in a 20-lead SOIC (0.295", 7.50mm Width) surface-mount package, suitable for compact PCB layouts. The device is RoHS3 compliant and has an MSL rating of 1 (unlimited).
