The AD7306AR is a monolithic line driver/receiver from Analog Devices that provides an interface between TTL signal levels and dual-standard EIA RS-232/RS-422 signal levels. It integrates two RS-232 drivers, one RS-422 driver, one RS-232 receiver, and one configurable receiver path that can operate as either RS-232 or RS-422, offering flexibility in mixed-protocol communication systems.
Operating from a single +5V supply (4.75V to 5.25V), the device uses an internal charge pump to generate ±10V levels for RS-232 outputs, eliminating the need for external bipolar supplies.
