The AD7266BCPZ is a dual 12-bit successive approximation (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Analog Devices. It supports a maximum throughput rate of 2 MSPS and operates from a single 2.7 V to 5.25 V supply. The device features pin-configurable analog inputs: 12 single-ended, 6 fully differential, or 6 pseudo-differential channels, selectable via pin configuration.
Key electrical characteristics include a typical SNR of 70 dB at 50 kHz input frequency, an on-chip 2.5 V reference (±0.2% accuracy at 25°C), and low power consumption of 9 mW at 1.5 MSPS (3 V supplies) and 27 mW at 2 MSPS (5 V supplies). The ADC uses a high-speed serial interface compatible with SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE, and DSP standards, with a maximum SCLK frequency of 32 MHz.
The AD7266BCPZ is housed in a 32-lead LFCSP package (5x5 mm, also referred to as 32-VFQFN exposed pad) and is specified for the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. It is suitable for simultaneous sampling applications and is designed for easy interfacing with microprocessors and DSPs.
