The AD7247ABR is a dual 12-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) from Analog Devices Inc., part of the DACPORT series. It integrates two complete DACs with on-chip output amplifiers and a Zener voltage reference, requiring no external trims for full specified performance.
Key specifications include a 12-bit resolution for each channel, a settling time of 8 µs, and voltage buffered outputs. The device supports both external and internal reference types and uses a parallel data interface. Integral non-linearity (INL) is ±0.5 LSB maximum, and differential non-linearity (DNL) is ±0.9 LSB maximum.
The DAC employs an R-2R architecture and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. It requires analog supplies of ±10.8V to ±16.5V and a digital supply of 10.8V to 16.5V. Available in a 24-SOIC (0.295", 7.50mm width) surface-mount package, it is suitable for a variety of industrial and instrumentation applications.
