The AD7228ABN is an LC2MOS octal 8-bit digital-to-analog converter from Analog Devices. It integrates eight 8-bit voltage mode DACs with output buffer amplifiers and interface logic on a single monolithic chip. The device uses an R-2R architecture and provides a buffered voltage output. It operates from a 13.5V to 16.5V supply and can accept an external reference voltage. Data is loaded via an 8-bit parallel interface with typical WR pulse width of 95 ns, making it compatible with most 8-bit microprocessors. The AD7228ABN is specified for an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. It is offered in a 24-lead PDIP through-hole package (24-DIP, 0.300" body width).
