The AD7175-8BCPZ-RL7 is a low noise, fast settling, multiplexed 8-/16-channel Sigma-Delta analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Analog Devices. It offers a maximum sampling rate of 250kSPS and achieves 17.2 noise-free bits at that rate, 20.2 noise-free bits at 2.5kSPS, and 24 noise-free bits at 20SPS. Integral nonlinearity is ±1 ppm of FSR.
The device features a crosspoint multiplexer that allows configuration as 8 fully differential or 16 single-ended inputs. It includes an on-chip 2.5V reference with ±2 ppm/°C drift, true rail-to-rail input buffers, and an internal or external clock. The supply voltage range is 2V to 5.5V, with typical supply current of 8.4mA.
The ADC is available in a 40-LFCSP-WQ (6x6mm) surface-mount package and operates over -40°C to +105°C. It communicates via a 3- or 4-wire serial digital interface compatible with SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE, and DSP.
