AD7175-8BCPZ Description

Short technical summary and product information.

The AD7175-8BCPZ is a low noise, fast settling, multiplexed 24-bit sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Analog Devices. It supports up to 8 fully differential or 16 single-ended input channels via a crosspoint multiplexer, with a maximum sampling rate of 250 kSPS. The device achieves 17.2 noise-free bits at 250 kSPS, 20.2 noise-free bits at 2.5 kSPS, and 24 noise-free bits at 20 SPS, with an integral nonlinearity of ±1 ppm of FSR.

This ADC includes an on-chip 2.5 V reference with ±2 ppm/°C drift and true rail-to-rail analog and reference input buffers. It operates from a supply voltage of 2 V to 5.5 V and draws a typical supply current of 8.4 mA. The device also features an internal temperature sensor and supports SPI and DSP serial interfaces.

The AD7175-8BCPZ is designed for surface mount assembly in a 40-LFCSP-WQ (6x6) package and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C. It is suitable for process control, temperature and pressure measurement, medical instrumentation, and chromatography applications.
