The AD7175-2BRUZ is a low-noise, fast-settling, multiplexed Sigma-Delta Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) from Analog Devices. It offers a flexible output rate from 5 SPS to 250 kSPS, with a channel scan data rate of 50 kSPS/channel and 20 µs settling time. This ADC provides up to 24 noise-free bits at 20 SPS and 17.2 noise-free bits at 250 kSPS.
Key electrical specifications include an integral non-linearity (INL) of ±1 ppm of FSR and 85 dB rejection of 50 Hz and 60 Hz with 50 ms settling. It supports 2 fully differential or 4 single-ended channels and features an on-chip 2.5 V reference with ±2 ppm/°C drift. The device operates over a voltage range of 2V to 5.5V and has a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C.
The AD7175-2BRUZ is housed in a 24-TSSOP package and is designed for surface mount applications. It supports SPI and DSP data interfaces, making it suitable for various data acquisition systems. The true rail-to-rail analog and reference input buffers simplify driving high impedance inputs, reducing external component count.
Applications for this ADC include process control, PLC/DCS modules, temperature and pressure measurement, and medical and scientific multichannel instrumentation.
