The AD7173-8BCPZ-RL is a 24-bit sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Analog Devices. It integrates an input multiplexer that supports 8 differential or 16 single-ended channels and achieves a maximum sampling rate of 31.25 kSPS. The converter uses a MUX-ADC architecture and can operate with either an external or internal voltage reference.
The device accepts differential or single-ended inputs and communicates via SPI or DSP serial interfaces. It operates from a 2 V to 5.5 V supply, drawing a typical supply current of 1.4 mA. Integral nonlinearity is typically ±3 ppm of full-scale range, and noise-free resolution reaches 17.5 bits at 31.25 kSPS and 24 bits at 1.25 SPS.
The ADC is housed in a 40-lead WFQFN exposed pad package (supplier device package 40-LFCSP-WQ, 6 mm × 6 mm) for surface-mount assembly. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +105°C. The part is listed as RoHS3 compliant.
