The AD706J is a dual, low power, bipolar operational amplifier from Analog Devices. It offers the low input bias current of a BiFET amplifier with significantly lower I B drift over temperature. This is achieved using superbeta bipolar input transistors, enabling picoampere input bias current levels similar to FET input amplifiers at room temperature.
The AD706J boasts high DC precision, with a maximum offset voltage of 50 µV and a maximum offset drift of 0.6 µV/°C. It also provides low noise characteristics, with a voltage noise of 0.5 µV p-p from 0.1 Hz to 10 Hz. The device operates with low power consumption, drawing a maximum supply current of 750 µA.
This operational amplifier is internally compensated for unity gain and is available in an 8-lead plastic DIP package. It is suitable for applications such as low frequency active filters, precision instrumentation, and precision integrators. The AD706J is rated for the commercial temperature range of 0 °C to +70 °C.
