The AD6600AST is a mixed-signal receiver IC from Analog Devices designed for direct sampling of analog input frequencies up to 250 MHz. It features dual IF input channels (70 MHz to 250 MHz), each with 30 dB of automatic gain ranging circuitry. A 450 MHz track-and-hold amplifier feeds an 11-bit, 20 MSPS analog-to-digital converter. In diversity mode, the device supports 10 MSPS per channel. The ADC outputs an 11-bit conversion word, a 3-bit RSSI word, and an A/B channel indicator, all in parallel CMOS-compatible format. The digital output supply (DVCC) can operate at 3.3 V or 5 V, while the main supply is 5 V. Power dissipation is 775 mW typical. The device is housed in a 44-lead LQFP (10x10 mm) surface mount package and operates over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. Applications include PCS/cellular base stations, GSM, CDMA, TDMA, and wireless local loop systems.
The AD6600AST has 11-bit resolution.
The maximum sampling rate is 20 MSPS in single channel mode, and 10 MSPS per channel in diversity mode.
The supply voltage is 5 V, with a separate digital output supply (DVCC) of 3.3 V or 5 V.
The operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C.
The package is a 44-lead LQFP (10x10 mm) for surface mount.
The AD6600AST is listed as RoHS3 compliant, but this status is unverified.
The data interface is parallel.
