The AD632BH is an internally trimmed monolithic four-quadrant multiplier/divider from Analog Devices. It is pretrimmed to a maximum 4-quadrant multiplying error of ±0.5%, eliminating the need for external trimming in most applications. The device implements the transfer function [(X1 − X2)(Y1 − Y2)/10] + Z2, with all X, Y, and Z inputs being differential and high impedance.
The AD632BH offers a scale factor adjustable to provide up to ×10 gain, with a typical gain of 10 V/V. It features a typical noise specification of 90 µV rms over a 10 Hz to 10 kHz bandwidth. The device is designed for high quality analog signal processing, including differential ratio and percentage computations, algebraic and trigonometric function synthesis, and accurate voltage controlled oscillators and filters.
The AD632BH is housed in a TO-100-10 metal can package and operates over a temperature range of -25°C to +85°C. It is pin-for-pin compatible with the industry standard AD532 but offers improved specifications and a fully differential high impedance Z input.
