AD623ARM

The AD623ARM is an integrated single-supply instrumentation amplifier from Analog Devices, designed for ease of use and high performance. It operates on single supplies from +3 V to +12 V or dual supplies from ±2.5 V to ±6.0 V, delivering a rail-to-rail output swing.

Key electrical specifications include a low supply current of 575 mA maximum and a power consumption of 1.5 mW at 3 V. The device offers excellent gain accuracy, with 0.1% for G=1 and 0.35% for G>1, and a low gain drift of 25 ppm/°C at G=1. Input offset voltage is as low as 100 mV maximum for the AD623B variant, with a drift of 1 mV/°C. Noise performance is notable with 35 nV/√Hz RTI noise at 1 kHz for G=1.

AC performance includes a minimum CMRR of 90 dB at G=10 and 60 Hz, and a bandwidth of 800 kHz at G=1. The input voltage range extends 150 mV below ground in single-supply operation. Gain can be set with a single external resistor, providing a gain range from 1 (no resistor) to 1,000.

Available in 8-lead DIP, SOIC, and mSOIC packages, the AD623ARM is suitable for applications such as low-power medical instrumentation, transducer interfaces, thermocouple amplifiers, industrial process controls, and low-power data acquisition systems.
