AD5755ACPZ Description

Short technical summary and product information.

The AD5755ACPZ from Analog Devices is a versatile quad-channel, 16-bit Digital to Analog Converter (DAC) capable of both voltage and current outputs. It features dynamic power control, which minimizes power dissipation in current mode by regulating the output driver voltage. This DAC supports current output ranges of 0 mA to 20 mA, 4 mA to 20 mA, or 0 mA to 24 mA, and voltage output ranges including 0 V to 5 V, 0 V to 10 V, ±5 V, and ±10 V with 20% overrange.

With a high resolution of 16 bits and a low total unadjusted error (TUE) of ±0.04% maximum for voltage output and ±0.05% maximum for current output, the AD5755ACPZ ensures precise signal conversion. It operates over a wide temperature range of -40°C to +105°C and utilizes a 3-wire serial interface compatible with SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE, and DSP standards, supporting clock rates up to 30 MHz.

The device is housed in a 64-LFCSP-VQ (9x9) or 64-VFQFN Exposed Pad, CSP package, suitable for surface mounting. Its on-chip diagnostics and user-programmable offset and gain features simplify integration into process control and actuator control applications, such as PLCs.
