The AD571SD is a 10-bit successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter from Analog Devices. It accepts single-ended analog inputs and provides a parallel digital output. The converter includes an internal reference, simplifying external circuitry.
Electrical characteristics include a conversion time of 15 µs typical (25 µs max at +25°C, 40 µs max over full temperature range). The analog input can be configured for unipolar (0 V to +10 V) or bipolar (-5 V to +5 V) ranges. Supply voltage requirements are +4.5 V to +7.0 V on V+ and -12.0 V to -16.5 V on V-. Accuracy parameters include full-scale calibration of ±2 LSB and differential nonlinearity of 10 bits.
The device is housed in an 18-lead ceramic dual in-line package (18-CDIP) with through-hole mounting. The supplier device package is 18-SBDIP. It is rated for operating temperatures from -55°C to +125°C, making it suitable for extended temperature environments.
V+ requires +4.5 V to +7.0 V, V- requires -12.0 V to -16.5 V.
It comes in an 18-lead ceramic DIP (18-CDIP) with through-hole mounting, also known as 18-SBDIP.
-55°C to +125°C.
It is listed as RoHS3 compliant, although this is unverified.
