The AD5676RARUZ is a low power, octal, 16-bit buffered voltage output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) from Analog Devices. It includes a 2.5 V, 2 ppm/°C internal reference (enabled by default) and a gain select pin giving a full-scale output of 2.5 V (gain = 1) or 5 V (gain = 2). The device operates from a single 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply and is guaranteed monotonic by design.
The AD5676RARUZ features a 50 MHz SPI interface with readback and daisy-chain capability, and 1.8 V logic compatibility. Key electrical specifications include a total unadjusted error (TUE) of ±0.14% of FSR maximum, offset error of ±1.5 mV maximum, and gain error of ±0.06% of FSR maximum. The device also offers a power-down current of 1 µA typical.
The AD5676RARUZ is designed for applications such as optical transceivers, base station power amplifiers, process control (PLC input/output cards), industrial automation, and data acquisition systems. It is available in a 20-lead TSSOP package with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
