AD5624RBCPZ-3REEL7 Description

Short technical summary and product information.

The AD5624RBCPZ-3REEL7 is a low-power, quad, 12-bit buffered voltage-output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) from Analog Devices, part of the nanoDAC family. It operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V power supply and is guaranteed monotonic by design. This device features an on-chip 1.25V or 2.5V reference with a temperature coefficient of 5 ppm/°C. It supports both external and internal reference selection, with the internal reference enabled via a software write.

The DAC output powers up to zero scale due to a power-on reset circuit, remaining there until a valid write occurs. A per-channel power-down feature is included to reduce current consumption. The AD5624RBCPZ-3REEL7 communicates via a serial interface supporting SPI and DSP protocols, with speeds up to 50 MHz. It is available in a 10-lead LFCSP_WD package (3mm x 3mm) and is suitable for surface mounting.

Applications for this DAC include process controls, data acquisition systems, portable battery-powered instruments, digital gain and offset adjustment, and programmable voltage and current sources.
