The AD5623RBCPZ-5REEL7 is a dual 12-bit digital-to-analog converter from Analog Devices, part of the nanoDAC family. It features a buffered voltage output with a settling time of 4.5 µs typical. The device includes an on-chip 2.5V reference with a temperature coefficient of 5 ppm/°C, providing a full-scale output range of 0V to 5V. The DAC operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply and consumes only 200 µA (internal reference off) in normal mode, reducing to 480 nA in power-down mode. It supports SPI and DSP-compatible serial interfaces up to 50 MHz. The AD5623R also includes hardware LDAC and CLR functions for synchronous updates and clear. The device is available in a 10-lead LFCSP package (3mm x 3mm) with exposed pad for thermal management. It is specified for the industrial temperature range of -40°C to 105°C. The DAC uses a string architecture and is guaranteed monotonic. Typical applications include process control, data acquisition systems, and portable battery-powered instruments.
