The AD5541BRZ is a single 16-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) manufactured by Analog Devices. It employs an R-2R architecture and offers an unbuffered voltage output. The device achieves a fast 1 µs settling time, making it suitable for dynamic control and data acquisition systems.
The DAC accepts an external reference voltage and produces an output range from 0 V to VREF. It guarantees monotonic 16-bit performance with integral nonlinearity (INL) of ±0.5 LSB typical. The data interface supports SPI and DSP protocols for flexible integration with microcontrollers and digital signal processors.
Operating from a single supply voltage of 2.7V to 5.5V, the AD5541BRZ consumes only 0.625 mW typical power. It is specified for the industrial temperature range of –40°C to +85°C.
The device is packaged in an 8-pin SOIC (8-SOIC, 0.154" width) with surface mount mounting. The package is RoHS3 compliant and has an MSL level of 1 (unlimited).
