The AD5443YRMZ is a 12-bit current-output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) from Analog Devices, offering a resolution of 12 bits with an R-2R architecture. It utilizes a double-buffered 3-wire serial interface compatible with SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE, and most DSP interface standards, with support for daisy-chain and data readback. Key electrical specifications include a settling time of 160 ns, integral nonlinearity (INL) of ±1 LSB max, a typical multiplying bandwidth of 10 MHz, and an update rate of 2.5 MSPS. The device features low glitch energy of less than 2 nV-s and very low power consumption of 0.4 µA typical. It operates from a single supply voltage range of 2.5 V to 5.5 V and requires an external reference voltage to set the full-scale output current. The output is current-unbuffered and differential. The AD5443YRMZ is mounted using surface-mount technology and is available in a 10-lead MSOP or 10-TFSOP package (supplier device package 10-MSOP). It is designed for demanding applications such as portable battery-powered instruments, waveform generators, analog processing, programmable amplifiers and attenuators, and digitally controlled calibration circuits.
