The AD5383BSTZ-3 is a 12-bit, 32-channel digital-to-analog converter (DAC) from Analog Devices. It provides buffered voltage outputs with a settling time of 8 µs and integral nonlinearity (INL) of ±1 LSB maximum. The device supports multiple data interfaces including I²C, parallel, SPI, and DSP-compatible serial interfaces, offering flexibility for various system architectures. It operates from a single supply voltage of 2.7V to 5.5V and includes an on-chip 1.25V/2.5V reference with 10 ppm/°C drift. The output amplifier is rail-to-rail, enabling full-scale output swing. Additional features include a power-down mode, channel monitor, and robust ESD protection of 6.5 kV HBM and 2 kV FICDM. The DAC is housed in a 100-lead LQFP package (14 mm × 14 mm) and is surface mountable. It is suitable for applications such as variable optical attenuators, level setting in ATE, optical MEMS control, and instrumentation. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C.
