The Analog Devices AD537SH is a versatile current-to-frequency converter designed for a wide range of applications. It offers a frequency range of 0 kHz to 150 kHz with a nonlinearity of 0.15% max at 10 kHz and 0.25% max at 100 kHz. The device boasts a full-scale calibration error of ±10% max and operates with a supply voltage from 4.5 V to 36 V single supply or ±5 V to ±18 V dual supply.
The analog input amplifier section supports a voltage input range from 0 to (VS – 4) Volts for single supply and –VS to (+VS – 4) Volts for dual supply. It features an input bias current of 100 nA and an input resistance of 250 MΩ. The reference outputs provide a stable 1.00 Volt ± 5% voltage reference with a temperature coefficient of 50 ppm/°C.
The AD537SH is packaged in a TO-100-10 metal can and is designed for through-hole mounting. Its output interface is an open collector output, providing a symmetrical square wave. The operating temperature range is 0°C to +70°C, with a storage temperature range of –65°C to +150°C.
