The AD5344BRUZ-REEL7 is a quad 12-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) from Analog Devices. It features four buffered voltage outputs with a settling time of 10 µs, making it suitable for applications requiring multiple analog outputs. The device uses a parallel data interface and an external voltage reference. It operates from a single 2.5V to 5.5V supply and draws low power, with a power-down mode reducing current to 80 nA at 3V. The DAC architecture is a string DAC, ensuring monotonic performance over all codes. The output range is 0 to VREF or 0 to 2×VREF, selectable via gain pins. The device includes a power-on reset to zero volts, an asynchronous clear (CLR) facility, and a simultaneous update capability via the LDAC pin. It is housed in a 28-lead TSSOP package and is rated for operation from -40°C to +105°C. Typical applications include portable battery-powered instruments, digital gain and offset adjustment, programmable voltage sources, and industrial process control.
