The AD5342BRU is a dual 12-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) from Analog Devices, designed for precision voltage-output applications. It features a parallel interface and operates from a 2.5V to 5.5V supply, consuming only 230 µA at 3V and 300 µA at 5V. The device includes a power-down mode that reduces current consumption to 80 nA at 3V and 200 nA at 5V.
The AD5342BRU offers an external reference with an output voltage range of 0V to VREF or 0V to 2×VREF. It is guaranteed monotonic by design and includes double-buffered input logic, a power-on reset to zero volts, and an asynchronous CLR facility. The device is suitable for portable battery-powered instruments, digital gain and offset adjustment, programmable voltage and current sources, and industrial process control.
The DAC is available in a surface-mount 28-TSSOP package and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C.
