The AD5339BRMZ from Analog Devices is a dual 12-bit buffered voltage output digital-to-analog converter (DAC). It is housed in an 8-lead MSOP package and operates from a single 2.5V to 5.5V power supply, consuming a low 250 μA at 3V.
This DAC features a 2-wire serial interface compatible with I2C at clock rates up to 400 kHz, allowing multiple devices on the same bus. The on-chip output buffer amplifiers enable rail-to-rail output swing. The device includes a power-on reset circuit to ensure DAC outputs power up to 0V and a software clear function to reset registers.
With a guaranteed monotonic design over all codes, the AD5339BRMZ offers an integral non-linearity (INL) of ±2 LSB and a differential non-linearity (DNL) of ±0.2 LSB. It has a settling time of 10µs and operates within a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C. The part is suitable for portable battery-powered instruments, digital gain and offset adjustment, and industrial process control applications.
Mounting is via surface mount technology. The package is an 8-MSOP, with an alternative designation of 8-TSSOP, 8-MSOP (0.118", 3.00mm Width).
The supply voltage range is 2.5V to 5.5V.
The AD5339BRMZ has a resolution of 12 bits.
The AD5339BRMZ uses an I2C interface.
The operating temperature range is -40°C to 105°C.
The AD5339BRMZ is supplied in an 8-MSOP package for surface mounting.
The power consumption is 250 μA at 3V and 300 μA at 5V.
