The AD5338RBRUZ-RL7 is a dual, 10-bit buffered voltage output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) from Analog Devices, part of the nanoDAC family. It features a low-drift 2.5V internal reference with a typical drift of 2 ppm/°C, which is enabled by default. The device offers a user-selectable gain of 1 or 2 via the GAIN pin, providing a full-scale output of 2.5V or 5V.
Key electrical specifications include a total unadjusted error (TUE) of ±0.1% of full-scale range, an offset error of ±1.5 mV, and a gain error of ±0.1% of FSR. The DAC has a settling time of 7 µs and can drive up to 20 mA. It communicates via a 400 kHz I2C-compatible serial interface and is compatible with 1.8V logic.
The device operates over a supply voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V and a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C. It is available in a 16-TSSOP package for surface mount assembly. The AD5338R also includes a power-on reset circuit with a selectable reset to zero scale or midscale via the RSTSEL pin.
