The AD5326BRUZ is a 12-bit quad voltage output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) from Analog Devices. It integrates four buffered voltage output DACs with a 2-wire I2C-compatible serial interface, operating at clock frequencies up to 400 kHz. The device requires a single 2.5V to 5.5V power supply and consumes only 400 µA typical at 3V, making it suitable for low-power and battery-powered applications.
Each DAC offers a settling time of 10 µs typical and supports an external reference voltage with output ranges of 0 V to VREF or 0 V to 2 VREF. The architecture is a string DAC with guaranteed monotonicity. Integral non-linearity is ±10 LSB maximum for the B version. On-chip rail-to-rail output buffer amplifiers provide robust drive capability.
The device includes double-buffered input logic, power-on reset to 0 V, simultaneous update via LDAC pin, and a software clear facility. Power-down mode reduces supply current to 90 nA at 3V. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +105°C, and the package is a 16-lead TSSOP (0.173", 4.40mm width) for surface-mount assembly.
