The AD5310BRM is a single 10-bit buffered voltage output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) from Analog Devices. It operates from a 2.7V to 5.5V supply and consumes only 140 µA typical at 5V, making it suitable for battery-powered applications. The DAC uses a string architecture with a supply-derived reference, providing rail-to-rail output swing. The settling time is 8 µs.
The device features a versatile 3-wire serial interface compatible with SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE, and DSP standards, operating at clock rates up to 30 MHz. It includes a power-on reset circuit that ensures the output powers up to 0V. Three power-down functions are available, reducing current to 200 nA at 5V and 50 nA at 3V.
The AD5310BRM is offered in an 8-lead MSOP package (also compatible with 8-TSSOP). It is specified for the industrial temperature range of -40°C to 105°C. Typical applications include portable battery-powered instruments, digital gain and offset adjustment, programmable voltage and current sources, and programmable attenuators.
