The AD5245BRJZ10-RL7 is a 256-position digital potentiometer from Analog Devices designed to replace mechanical potentiometers in electronic adjustment applications. It offers an end-to-end resistance of 10 kOhms with a linear taper and ±30% tolerance. The wiper position is controlled via an I2C-compatible digital interface, and the volatile memory resets to midscale on power-up.
This device operates from a single supply voltage of 2.7V to 5.5V and features a low temperature coefficient of 45 ppm/°C, ensuring stable performance across the full operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. The AD5245 includes a selectable address pin (AD0) allowing up to two devices on the same I2C bus.
