The AD5207BRUZ100-R7 is a dual-channel, 256-position digital potentiometer from Analog Devices. It is designed to perform the same electronic adjustment function as a mechanical potentiometer or variable resistor. Each channel contains a fixed resistor with a wiper contact that taps the fixed resistor value at a point determined by a digital code loaded into the SPI-compatible serial-input register.
The device offers a nominal end-to-end resistance of 100 kOhms with a linear taper characteristic. It operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply or dual ±2.2V to 2.7V supplies. The AD5207BRUZ100-R7 includes a power-on reset that sets the wiper to midscale, and a shutdown pin that reduces power consumption. It also features a cascade pin for daisy-chaining multiple devices.
This digital potentiometer is housed in a 14-TSSOP surface-mount package and is rated for an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. It is suitable for applications requiring precise digital control of resistance, such as audio level control, instrumentation gain and offset adjustment, and programmable filters.
The nominal resistance is 100 kOhms.
The supply voltage range is 2.7V to 5.5V for a single supply, or ±2.2V to 2.7V for dual supplies.
The operating temperature range is -40°C to +125°C.
It comes in a 14-TSSOP surface-mount package.
The part is listed as RoHS3 Compliant, but this data is unverified and should be treated as low confidence.
It uses an SPI-compatible serial interface.
It has 2 channels.
