The AD4003BRMZ-RL7 is an 18-bit successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Analog Devices. It offers a sampling rate of 2 MSPS and features a differential input with an external reference voltage range of 2.4V to 5.1V. The ADC uses an Easy Drive architecture that reduces input kickback and allows for high-impedance inputs. Key specifications include an integral nonlinearity (INL) of ±1.0 LSB maximum, a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 100.5 dB at 1 kHz, and a total harmonic distortion (THD) of -123 dB at 1 kHz. The device operates from a single 1.8V analog supply with a 1.71V to 5.5V digital interface, consuming 2.4 mW at 500 kSPS and 16 mW at full speed. It is available in a 10-lead MSOP surface-mount package and is specified for the -40°C to +125°C temperature range. The ADC is suitable for applications such as automated test equipment, machine automation, medical equipment, and battery-powered devices.
