The AD4000BRMZ is a high-accuracy, high-speed, low-power, 16-bit successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Analog Devices Inc. It features a throughput of up to 2 MSPS and guaranteed 16-bit resolution with no missing codes. The ADC boasts excellent performance metrics, including Integral Non-Linearity (INL) of ±1.0 LSB maximum and a Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) of 93 dB at 1 kHz.
Designed for flexibility, the AD4000BRMZ incorporates Easy Drive features like high-Z mode, which significantly reduces signal chain settling requirements. It operates from a single 1.8 V supply with a flexible logic interface voltage range of 1.71 V to 5.5 V. The input overvoltage protection clamp can sink up to 50 mA, safeguarding the ADC inputs.
This SAR ADC supports a pseudo-differential input range and a flexible external reference voltage range from 2.4 V to 5.1 V. It is available in 10-lead LFCSP (3 mm × 3 mm) and MSOP (3 mm × 4.90 mm) packages. The device is guaranteed to operate across a wide temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, making it suitable for demanding applications.
