The AD2S90APZ is a complete monolithic 12-bit resolution tracking resolver-to-digital (R/D) converter from Analog Devices. It accepts 2 V rms input signals on the SIN, COS, and REF inputs within a 3 kHz to 20 kHz frequency range. A Type II servo loop tracks the inputs and converts SIN and COS information into a digital representation of the input angle, with an internally set bandwidth of 1 kHz and a guaranteed maximum tracking rate of 500 rps.
Angular position output is available in two forms: absolute serial binary (12-bit) and incremental A quad B encoder emulation (1024 lines).
