The AD1939 is a high performance, single-chip codec providing four analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) with differential input and eight digital-to-analog converters (DACs) with differential output using Analog Devices' patented multibit sigma-delta architecture. It operates from a single 3.3 V supply and supports 24-bit data and sample rates from 8 kHz to 192 kHz. The device features a PLL for clock generation, SPI control for volume and parameter adjustment, low EMI design, and differential ADC inputs and DAC outputs for high performance. It is housed in a 64-lead LQFP package and qualified for automotive applications. Typical dynamic range is 107 dB for ADC and 112 dB for DAC, with THD+N of -94 dB. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 105°C, making it suitable for industrial and automotive audio systems.
The supply voltage range is 3V to 3.6V, with a nominal 3.3V.
It comes in a 64-lead LQFP package (64-LQFP) with a 10x10mm body.
